IEEE-TSEC Computer Society Seminar on GRE /GMAT /TOEFL

GRE SeminarThe IEEE Computer Society started its student activities this year with a seminar on GRE / GMAT / TOEFL i.e. foreign education in general held on 20th February. This seminar was conducted by Prof. Ganesh Kohli of K.I.C. Education Centre.

Students attended the seminar in large numbers. The seminar hall was packed to its capacity. Such was the enthusiasm for information and knowledge on foreign education. Prof. Ganesh Kohli was welcomed by the Computer Society and the seminar commenced.

Prof. Ganesh Kohli first addressed the entire audience and spoke to them about the importance of foreign education. He explained to them the various possible prospects after B.E. and how a post-grad degree would place a student at a better position than his colleague who would opt for a placement. The entire seminar was supported by a PPT presentation. Prof Kohli used simple and entertaining examples to convey his message to the assembled audience. As the seminar proceeded, he spoke about the above said exams in particular, also mentioning the expenses and the grades involved to achieve the same.

GRE SeminarIn the last 45 minutes of the seminar Prof. Kohli answered the doubts and queries from the students to the best of his knowledge. He ended the session by distributing free CDs to everyone present and also provided his contact details for further queries.

The listeners mainly consisted of students from the second and third year of engineering joined by a few enthusiastic first year students as well. Everyone seemed very satisfied with the entire seminar, with all their queries answered and doubts solved.
