IEEE-TSEC IES Robotics Workshop and Aerodynamics Seminar

IEEE-IES (The Industrial Electronics Society) organized a workshop on Robotics Level 1-wired robots for the first year students on the 24th of February 2008. It was conducted by Koustabh Sinkar along with the IES committee member Harsh Desai. They have been active members and participants in robotics through the years and successfully managed to impart their knowledge in the field and answered the inquisitive minds attending the workshop.

Their aim was to ignite the minds of the participants with the most interesting and fascinating subject of all times- ROBOTICS which is a stream of electronics, less ventured by the usual curriculum. It has helped the brilliant minds of TSEC to enhance their knowledge and has convinced them to research and find excellence in their new found field of interest.

IES was pleasantly surprised with the response of over 40 first year students, all eager to absorb what was being taught, and make the best of it. The participants were provided with the basic hardware in bits and parts, and helped to come up with easiest possible circuit for the efficient working of their robots. It was a great delight to see the students so excited with their first self-made wired robots. It was simply impossible for them to keep their hands off the remotes that controlled their robots.

Aerodynamics seminarSpeedy three hours of robotics were over but the enthusiastic students were ready for the AERODYNAMICS SEMINAR, which was lined up next.

The determination and hard work of all the committee members ensured the grand success of the most popular venture organized by IEEE-TSEC, INDUSTRIAL ELECTRONICS SOCIETY (IES).
