On the 6th of March COMSOC organized a workshop on the listening bug. Listening bug is a circuit that helps you spy on someone consisting of a speaker and a microphone as its major components.
The students in the first year of engineering participated in large numbers. The objective of the workshop was to give the participants knowledge of electronic circuits and their working and getting them familiarized with soldering along with actually creating the circuit themselves.
All the participants were successful in building the circuit and had a listening bug circuit to their credit at the end of the workshop. The response from all the students was overwhelming and IEEE-TSEC Communications Society shall conduct many such interesting workshops for its enthusiastic members.
