The IEEE COMPUTER SOCIETY has established itself amongst students as a society which strives to make its members proficient in computer skills. We,at IEEE-TSEC COMPUTER SOCIETY provide facilities like Annual Summer Placements and a CD library which has been created exclusively for our members. Our first festival MOSAIC comprises of workshops on various useful subjects such as 3D Studio Max,Photoshop Flash and Java. We also conduct a host of other exciting workshops and seminars in our second festival, IGNITION which is conducted in mid-August.

Achievements: The COMPUTER SOCIETY has bagged many prestigious awards owing to its hard-working and passionate members.

• Best Student Chapter Award in 2007.
• Richard E. Merwin Distinguished Service Award to Amit Jain in 2007.
• Richard E. Merwin Distinguished Service Award to Sushil Chandiramani & Poulomi Doshi in 2006.
• Richard E. Merwin Distinguished Service Award to Mohit Thate in 2005.
• Richard E. Merwin Distinguished Service Award to Deepti Chheda in 2003.
• Best International Students Chapter Award in 1999, 2002 & 2003.

Chairperson's Note:

Computer Society has carved a niche for itself among all other societies, both of IEEE and that of TSEC and it has never failed to impress its members. It has adduced to its members that by setting up a technical and convivial atmosphere, it provides all-round development of the individual. It prides itself of being the largest society in IEEE-TSEC and has sustained a continued interest among its members, in all activities.

The two years that I have been associated with Computer Society have been truly wonderful. I have thoroughly enjoyed being part of the committee and organizing few of the best events at TSEC.
