The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), USA, an International professional organization, has established a student Branch in TSEC which has 4 Society chapters viz. Computer Society Chapter, Communication Society Chapter, Engineering in Medicine and Biology Society Chapter and Industrial Electronics Society Chapter. It was formed in 1990 under the guidance of Professor Kranti Kumar. Every year, IEEE-TSEC raises its standards by coming up with events that set it a class apart from other societies. It has performed its activities keeping in mind the high standards of IEEE and is always in a constant effort to review and elevate them. It is this culture of constant progress that makes this society truly unique in all respects.
MOSAIC is an even semester intra-collegiate technical festival held in the month of February. It includes conferences, seminars and workshops taken up by leading industrial professionals from renowned firms.It enlightens and expands the knowledge of the students. MOSAIC 2011- It was conducted on 24th and 25th of February. It included a workshop on Html 5 and Seminar on Adobe Flex
IGNITION is anthe annual odd semester intra-collegiate festival of IEEE-TSEC Computer Society. It helps them develop their organizational skills. Every year various workshops, seminars and fun-events are conducted during this festival. IGNITION 2011 Ignition 2011 was held on 25th and 26th of august. It included a workshop on Flash and a fun event, Trinity Case.

PULSE an intra-collegiate festival conducted by IEEE TSEC –EMBS. It is conducted in the odd semester. It is an amalgamation of a technical and a fun festival. It constitutes of seminars and fun events.PULSE 2011 It was held on 24th & 27th August. It constituted a seminar on Emergence and evolution of viruses and fun event called Abduction.
CEREBRATION is an annual inter collegiate festival held at the start of the academic year. It includes seminars and workshops which are taken up by highly qualified professionals from renowned firms/hospitals/institutes. It also conducts a few contests as a part of this event.CEREBRATION 2011 It was conducted on 12th and 14th of March. It constituted seminars on Immunology and Immunodeficiency and Genetic Diversity in Cancer on the first day and a technical paper presentation on the second day.
IEEE Engineering in Medicine and Biology Society (EMBS) is the world's largest international society of biomedical engineers. The organization's 9,100 members reside in some 97 countries around the world. EMBS provides its members with access to the people, practices, information, ideas and opinions that are shaping one of the fastest growing fields in science. IEEE-TSEC EMBS, the oldest biomedical society in Mumbai.It has two festivals PULSE and CEREBRATION in the odd and even semester respectively which have various interactive workshops and seminars. The society also conducts a hospital or research institute visit HELIX and publishes its own newsletter Biobytes.
TECHTRIX 2012 was conducted on 24th and 25th of February. It included an Obstacle detector robotics workshop and a Touch sensor workshop.
SPARK is the annual odd semester festival of IEEE-TSEC IES. It includes workshops on all the three levels of Robotics and seminars and workshops on varied other subjects like Cryptography, Graphics etc. SPARK 2011 SPARK 2011 was held on 18th and 20th August. It comprised of a Level 3 Robotics Workshop on Line Follower.
Industrial Electronics Society (IES) was the first IEEE TSEC student chapter. It also has the distinction of being one of the oldest and most recognized societies in the world. Through its members it encompasses a diverse range of technical activities devoted to the application of electronics and electrical sciences. IEEE-TSEC Industrial Electronics Society deals with electronic and software aspects of technology and aims to enhance the knowledge of students. IEEE-TSEC Industrial Electronics Society believes in imparting practical understanding of principles and concepts of recent technology to the members through its workshops. This society has two intra-collegiate events TECHTRIX and SPARK.
NOVA is the annual even semester festival of IEEE-TSEC Communications Society. It includes a number of workshops and semina Nova 2012 was held on 17th and 18th February. It included a workshop on ‘Digital Security System’ and ‘Mobile Bug’..
TECHNO is the odd semester festival of IEEE-TSEC COMSOC. There are a wide variety of workshops such as Local Area Network, Mobile Application Development conducted during the festival. TECHNO 2011 was held on 6th and 7th September. It included a workshop on Networking, a LAN gaming session and a fun event Adrenaline Rush.
IEEE Communication Society was founded in 1952 with the formation of IRE’s (the Institute of Radio Engineers) professional group on Communications Systems (PGCS). IEEE-TSEC Communications Society is committed to communication engineering and the development of communication technology. It holds two intra- collegiate events Techno in the odd semester and Nova in the even semester. It is the only society in college to have an in house project. Some of its successful projects include a temperature sensor and an accelerometer mouse. It also organizes one day industrial trips which have included visits to Reliance's Knowledge City and Radio Mirchi
